Arbitrators

According to the Lower Saxony Law on Municipal Arbitration Offices, each municipality establishes one or two arbitration offices. The duties of the arbitration offices are performed by an arbitrator who works in an honorary capacity.

In civil disputes for which the labor courts are not responsible, the Arbitration Office, as a conciliation body, conducts conciliation proceedings on property claims and on non-property claims arising from neighbor law and from defamation.
